Project Description
161 West Kinzie, also known as EnV, is a luxury apartment building in Chicago's River North neighborhood. The finish window wall type facade is comprised of four-sided, structurally glazed units spanning floor to ceiling with metal slab edge covers. The corner balconies project beyond the primary face of the building with glass screen walls.
Scope of Services
CDC provided a full range of consulting services including design reviews for VDT and construction administration services for the Lynd Co. CDC reviewed shop drawings and submittals, witnessed the erection and testing of a complex multi-plane mock-up, and performed site observation services.
