Project Description

Designed as a symbol of Dubai's transformation, this iconic 60-story, 1,060-foot tall hotel is the second tallest hotel in the world. This building cost approximately US $650 million and is located on an artificial island 900-feet off the coast of Jumeriah Beach. The hotel's shape is reminiscent of the sails of a dhow, which is a type of Arabian vessel.

Scope of Services

CDC prvoided design services, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and structural calculations for the banquet room, restaurant, and helipad at the top of the building.
