Project Description
Located in Chicago's South Loop, this 1.6 million square-foot mixed-use development was constructed on the site of an abandoned rail yard. The complex is composed of 450,000 square feet of retail/cinema space and 342 loft apartment units above the retail portions.
Scope of Services
CDC provided consulting services during the Design Development and Construction Administration phases including review of design details, development of performance design criteria, shop drawing review, observations of mock-up testing, performance design criteria, shop drawing review, observations of mock-up testing, performance of field observations and water testing of curtain wall and metal panel systems.
