Scope of Services
CDC provided shop drawings and engineering for three major products used in this project: precast concrete panels, aluminum composite panels, and curtain wall. In addition, CDC provided fabrication drawings for windows and curtain walls, and coordination services between these trades.
Among the building's unique features, there are cantilevered and free-standing, precast concrete panels, deep shadow boxes with ribbon windows that run horizontally and vertically surrounding precast, and a custom curved/segmented curtain wall which slopes upward and features wood mullions.
The "green building" is considered a world class research facility.
